Sherry's Run receives $10,000 grant from MTE SharingChange

Middle Tennessee Electric's SharingChange has donated $10,000 of its funds to Sherry's Run.

"Jacob's sweet smile and infectious spirit have truly inspired me!" says Tonyia Stockton, Director of Patient Assistance for Sherry's Run. "Your donations to SharingChange make it possible for us to serve precious families like this one."

Sherry's Run is a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to cancer patients 52 weeks a year in Wilson County and surrounding communities. To refer someone who might qualify for assistance or for further information, please call 615-925-2592 or visit www.sherrysrun.org.

In 2016, MTEMC's charitable organization has given more than $830,000 to 133 organizations across its four-county service area. The receiving organizations use the funds to assist MTEMC members and their families during their times of need. The grants are funded through donated monies, which are administered by the SharingChange Board.
